Charity Game on Aug. 27 is an Event Like No Other

Play ball, join the community day festival, and help the township in the process

One of the most exciting days of the MSBL calendar is approaching.

The second annual Lehigh Valley MSBL Charity Game is 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, at Tuskes Community Park in Upper Nazareth Township.

Registration is now open.

The really cool thing about this event is that you play ball then walk right into the Upper Nazareth Community Day celebration at Tuskes. It’s complete with bands, beer, food, fireworks, and fun. It’s extra special because your friends and family can see you in action on the diamond and then join the Community Day festivities right along with you.

Registration is $20, and 100% of proceeds go toward recreation in Upper Nazareth Township. That includes upkeep of the Tuskes baseball field, which is home to more LV MSBL games than any other facility. Managers who use Tuskes as a home field will especially want to join in and bring a few players along.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy an MSBL event like no other, all while helping the township and the league in the process.

“Participating in the MSBL Charity Game is a no-brainer: Spend the afternoon playing ball, then the evening taking in the festivities, all while serving one of the communities that the LV MSBL calls homes. It makes for a pretty perfect  day,” Lehigh Valley MSBL President Ron Cahill said.

You can register here. It’s a great day. And hope to see you there!
